SWAR VIGYAN


SWAR VIGYAN

It is a great science of air we inhale. Air breath by left or right nostril is called "Swar". In healthy person Swar changed after a fixed time automatically. You can check yourself that from the two nostrils i.e. left or right, from which nostril air is flowing more.

Surya Swar:
When more air if flowing in & out from right nostril, it is said "Surya Swar". It is hot in nature & creates heat in body.

Chandra Swar:
When more air if flowing in & out from left nostril, it is said "Chandra Swar". It is cold in nature & creates cold in body.

Sushumna:
When more air if flowing in & out equally from left & right nostrils, it is said "Sushumna".

CHANGING OF SWAR AS YOU REQUIRE:
There are various methods of changing the Swar as you require. Some methods I am showing here -
Method1:
Lie down on the bed with your left side down for few minutes. After few minutes your breath will start flowing from your right nostril automatically. It is said now that Surya Swar is running.

Lie down on the bed with your right side down for few minutes. After few minutes your breath will start flowing from your left nostril automatically. It is said now that Chandra Swar is running.


Method2:
Make a ball of cloth simply by wrapping it. Put that ball in your armpit of the side whose Swar is running. Press your armpit for few minutes. The Swar will change to another side. After doing this practice many time you can place your hand punch also instead of cloth ball.

Method3:
If you are doing daily Anulom Vilom Pranayama and meditation than you can change your Swar by your thoughts i.e. it will change as per your wish. This requires high practice in which guided meditation is involved.

There are other methods also to Change the Swar as we require.
Uses of Swar Vigyan:
There are many many uses of Swar vigyan of which few are explained here:
After heavy diet is taken and you want to digest it, lie down on bed with your left side down. The Surya swar will start running after few minutes. Lie down for about 15-20 minutes. The food will be digested.

If you are suffering from cold & cough, than running Surya swar will definitely help you to recover soon.

If you are suffering from excess heat than running Chandra Swar will help you.

Although it is not practical every time but -
While eating food, running Surya swar is beneficial for health.
While taking liquids, running Chandra swar is beneficial for health.
While doing Meditation, Sushumna is very helpful.
At night Surya Swar is good & at day time running Chandra Swar is good.
But it depends on your body condition. If any question arises than you are free to ask your question.
